Working as a trainer in any industry is a matter of pride and prestige for the candidate. This is so because trainer provides valuable guidelines to the newly joined employees about the official procedures and the nature of the work. It is the responsibility of a trainer to make the inexperienced and newly appointed employees competent enough to shoulder the responsibilities of their jobs. Training jobs are available in various fields and the responsibilities of a trainer vary from field to field. Naturally, remunerations for trainers vary from field to field.
In big companies, the post of a trainer is very important. After the appointment of the employees they work under the instructions of a trainer who teaches them the methods and techniques that are essential for that particular job. Trainer jobs are available in IT industry, in the fields like sales and marketing, human resource, education, medical etc. Moreover, demand for athletic trainers and trainers for physical fitness too is ever increasing.
As a trainer, one should have good knowledge of the nature of work with which training is concerned. Trainer should also possess good leadership qualities and good communication and interpersonal skills. In many training jobs, use of computers has become inevitable and hence a trainer should also have sound knowledge of computer skills.
