An operation manager is responsible for data entry, accounts checking, grant report entry, assisting human resource department and coordinating the work of various departments and preparing organizational and program budgets. An operation manager is supposed to work under the executive director (ED) of the company. He has to report ED and he serves as the member of the company management team; the ED, development director and program director being the members of the team. The responsibility of this team is to ensure the good organizational performance and provide good leadership for the cause.
Operation manager plays a major role in setting organizational policies and strategies and in their execution as well. The candidate holding this post should have sound understanding of all the company procedures. A person having considerable experience in financial management will be preferred while filling this post. The candidate should have good computational, interpersonal and communication skills, leadership qualities, good mathematical and analytical skills and innovative line of thinking.
